Flameless Catalytic Combustion Hydrogen Plant From Methanol / Hydrogen Production Unit
The energy required by the methanol-reforming is maintained by off-gas and methanol which are oxidized in the presence of catalysts and generate the heat accordingly.
Flameless, hot oil furnace could be deployed adjacent reformer;
Less NOx, lower temperature in the furnace;
Less hot oil piping, less heat loss, higher system efficiency;
Recovering off-gas, less methanol consumption.
