Recently, the first 200Nm³/h bioethanol reforming hydrogen production plant in China has been successfully put into operation, and has been in continuous operation for more than 400 hours so far, and the purity of hydrogen has reached 5N. The bioethanol reforming hydrogen production is jointly developed by SDIC Biotechnology Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SDIC Biotech") and the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and is undertaken and constructed by Ally Hydrogen Energy.
This plant adopts a high-efficiency hydrogen production catalyst developed by the team of Academician He Hong of the Ecological Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences for more than ten years, and the process package, detailed design, construction and start-up operation are provided by Ally Hydrogen Energy. It combines oxidation reforming hydrogen production process and desorbed gas catalytic oxidation technology, which can operate stably under high energy efficiency. According to the characteristics of this ethanol hydrogen production catalyst and ensuring the reforming rate of the catalyst, the radial distributed oxygenation technology was developed and designed to ensure the stability of ethanol self-heating reforming and regeneration, and the operation test results were better than the experimental results. At the same time, the project tail gas recovery adopts the catalytic oxidation heating technology of Ally hydrogen energy, which improves the efficiency of tail gas recovery.
China's hydrogen energy industry is not small, but it lacks green hydrogen energy prepared from renewable energy and used for energy supply, while bioethanol reforming hydrogen production is an important way to supply green hydrogen energy, and the advantages cannot be ignored. SDIC said that by trying to produce hydrogen with bioethanol, it will subsequently develop industries and links such as hydrogen refueling services and hydrogen energy operations, build an integrated supply chain of hydrogen energy "production, storage, transportation, refueling and use", and promote the commercialization of the fuel cell vehicle industry and hydrogen energy industry.
The successful operation of this project marks that the technical strength and scientific research transformation ability of hydrogen production in thermochemical hydrogen production by Ally Hydrogen Energy have been recognized by the industry! At the same time, it is conducive to promoting the development of containerized skid-mounted equipment, laying the foundation for the further promotion and commercial application of bioethanol reforming hydrogen production technology, and adding a new track to the "green hydrogen" industry, accelerating the green supply of hydrogen energy and helping to achieve the goal of dual carbon.
