Reliable Hydrogen PSA Unit , Hydrogen Production Unit Decarbonization By PSA
The features, process principle and process flow of PSA decarburization technology are the same as those of PSA purification of hydrogen.
The distinction is that the feed gas to the PSA is a mix rich in CO2, and the outcome gas can be H2, N2, and CO.
Features
Mature and stable generation technology
Smooth processes, efficient operation, and quick action for startup & shutdown
High level of automation, simple and safe operation and control steady, secure and reliable
Can recover less land occupation and investment in a short time
Cost-effective operation and production
Recover CO2 at >90% high concentration
Process Principle
Decarburization separates carbon dioxide from other gaseous parts by using the properties of the adsorbents, which are selected to adsorb carbon dioxide in the gas blend under pressurized conditions.
In the meantime, the adsorbents release the adsorbed CO2 under decreased pressure to refresh the adsorbents. According to the customers' diverse requirements for the carbon dioxide content of the product, a one-stage or two-stage operation is adopted to ensure the production of the active ingredient and the stability index.
Process Description
CO2 rich feed gas is pretreated and then entered into the PSA system from the bottom of the adsorption tower. Purified gas (H2, N2, CO) is obtained from the top of the tower. From the bottom of the tower we get the desorption gas (main content is CO2) so to recover CO2 or release it into the atmosphere.
Performance
