Pressure Swing Adsorption Technolgy of Ally Hi-Tech
Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Technology of Ally Hi-Tech is applied to recover and purify hydrogen from various hydrogen-rich sources, exp biogas, Chlor-alkali exhaust and coke oven gas(COG). This technology relies on differences in the adsorption characteristics of gases to separate the mixture under pressure and it is an effective method of generating highly pure hydrogen.
The process of hydrogen production plant by PSA
The PSA feed gas can be hydrogen-rich gas from a variety of sources, including steam methane reforming(SMR), partial oxidation, low-temperature purification, purge gas from a methanol plant, ethylene exhaust, styrene exhaust, gasification, and ammonia plants.
In the process of PSA, hydrogen is recovered and purified at a pressure close to the pressure of the feedstock, while adsorbed impurities are removed by reducing the pressure. Then, even without an exhaust compressor, the PSA exhaust containing impurities can be sent back to the fuel system. The whole process is automatic.
